What is Structured Alkaline Ionized Water?

What is structured water?

Most water coming out of our taps and the many filtration units available has little structure, known as hexagonal structuring. Even bottled water is usually without this structuring. Without this structure water cannot get inside the cell itself. The body must use its own resources to attempt to produce hexagonal structure within this water.

This requires antioxidants, and if not present, the inner cell environment will remain dehydrated even with the body swimming in water consumed. Using a structuring water catalyst has been a solution for decades with outstanding results. Unfortunately we are seeing ‘structured’ waters hit the market in record numbers, and there are some reasons for concern.

Structured, or clustered water, has become an almost meaningless term as dozens of electrically or artificial, magnetically produced products are coming on the market. Many outlandish, unsubstantiated claims are being made for some of these waters. Some claims are based on the outstanding work of Dr. Mu Shik Jhon in his collection of forty years of research on structured water called ‘The Water Puzzle and the Hexagonal Key.’ Unfortunately, many of these ‘Energy’ or ‘Structured’ waters have little to do with the waters used in the research referred to by Dr. Jhon. Little if any clinical experience or actual scientific basis for making claims is offered specific to these waters. Only naked claims. A warning should be made that although these waters may improve hydration, little thought has gone into the potentially negative frequencies they may carry into the cellular environment. Too many may contain frequencies stimulatory or potentially harmful to healthy cellular function. Unhealthy cellular function may be encouraged through this chaos, rather than the harmony needed in the cell environment.

Abundant protons are often present rather than electrons in some of these waters, according to teachings by Dr Robert O. Young. He teaches that this overabundance of protons pushes the body into agreater imbalance and stimulation. Others may simply provide little or no discernible or positive effect. It is a buyer beware market. Oftengood marketing overcomes good sense.
